These violent storms are increasingly becoming a part of our daily lives and no region is really safe from this type of event, so it is important to be covered even in “non-flood zones”.

What should you do if you have been affected?

During this type of event, it is normal to be distraught and not always know what to do. Here is a list of good habits to adopt.

GOOD HABITS

First of all, make sure you are safe and contact the emergency services if necessary.
  • Stay away from fallen electrical and telephone lines and make sure you switch off your electricity and gas meters.

If you have an old reebou family policy with natural disaster cover, you are only covered for the consequences of public sewer back-up from pipes inside your home.

Motor insurance

If you have taken out one of these three packs mobilé: Clima, Protection or Zen, you are compensated for your vehicle according to the conditions of your policy.

You get better compensation if you have taken out the Purchase Value or Value + option
