horizon is a supplementary pension plan that allows you to build up a pension while taking advantage of stock market opportunities.  Your payments are invested in investment funds. These funds are managed daily by our CapitalatWork specialists according to your investor profile.

The choice between 2 formulas to prepare your retirement according to your needs.

Option 50

A balance between growth and security
  • 50% unit-linked funds
  • 50% at a guaranteed rate

Option 100

Long-term growth
  • 100% unit-linked funds

The conditions

  • The minimum contract term is 10 years

  • Retirement age in the policy is set at a minimum of 60 and a maximum of 75.

Access to different units of account vehicles

To benefit from interesting return prospects, you also have access to different funds. They enable you to invest according to your investment horizon and your risk profile. However, depending on your age, access to certain funds is not available in order to limit the exposure of accumulated savings to financial market risk, especially as you approach retirement age.

You are free to choose the frequency and size of the premiums paid.

Estate planning

You are free to appoint the beneficiaries of your smartlife policy in the event of death, a choice you can amend at any time free of charge.

You choose how you wish to access your funds

At retirement (between the ages of 60 and 75), you can opt for: a monthly lifetime annuity, free access to all or part of your capital, or a mix of the two. In the event of disability or serious illness, your interest or capital may be paid out before you reach retirement age.

Responsible management

Your savings are managed by a team of experienced asset managers. They aim to strike the right balance between risk and yields so as to profit from performance on the financial markets.

Tax optimisation

Under the terms to articles 111bis of the Income Tax Law, it is possible to deduct from your taxable amount  the  premiums paid under a life insurance policy.

You can deduct up to €3,200 a year under your horizon policy.
