In accordance with Regulation EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (RGPD), and in accordance with the law of 1st August 2018 on the organisation of the National Commission for Data Protection and the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, Foyer Vie collects and processes, within the pre-contractual and the contractual framework, the data that the policyholder and the scheme member(s) have provided, and the data they will provide later in order to assess the risks, to prepare, establish, manage and execute insurance contract(s), to settle claims, if any and to prevent any fraud.
Foyer Vie may use these personal data within the framework of processes necessary for the compliance with a mandatory legal or regulatory requirement and in order to safeguard a legitimate interest.

Where health-related particular categories of personal data are collected, they are processed by Foyer Vie within the strict framework of the purpose of article 9, paragraph (2) g) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

No personal data will be processed for commercial prospecting purposes without the express consent of the persons concerned, who retain a right of withdrawal.
Foyer Vie is the data processing Controller. Foyer Vie may disclose these data to third parties in the cases and under the terms and conditions detailed in article 300 of the law of 7 December 2015 concerning professional secrecy in the insurance sector, as amended.
The concerned persons have a right of access, limitation, erasure, rectification and portability concerning their data which they may exercise by sending a written request to the address of the data processing Controller.
The retention period is limited to the duration of the insurance contract and the period during which the retention of the data is necessary to enable Foyer Vie to meet its obligations according to the limitation periods or other legal obligations.

Foyer Vie appointed a Data Protection Officer who may be contacted by mail to the address of the data processing Controller.
