On Sunday, October 5th, 2025, the town of Walferdange will come alive with the energy of the 49th edition of the Walfer Vollekslaf, a beloved running event proudly supported by Foyer for 19 years.
Affectionately known as “Walfy”, this community race brings together runners of all ages and levels in a warm and festive atmosphere.
🏁 One race – four distances
Whether you’re a young beginner or a seasoned long-distance runner, Walfy offers a course for everyone:
- 🧒 Minilaf – 1 km: for children aged 5 to 12 (starts at 9:45 AM)
- 👟 Juniorlaf – 5.5 km: for youth aged 11 to 18
- 🚶♂️ Jogging – 5.5 km: for adults aged 18 to 99
- 🏃 Vollekslaf – 12 km: for experienced runners aged 18 to 99
📍 Start time: 10:00 AM – don’t forget to warm up!
