Spring is on its way… and with it comes one of the most anticipated sporting events in the north of the country!
On 15 March 2026, Foyer invites you to take part in the Foyer Nordstadlaf, a popular race that brings together both amateur runners and seasoned athletes at the municipal stadium of Diekirch. For this 22nd edition, you can expect a festive, energetic and truly inspiring atmosphere.
A programme for all levels
Whether you enjoy performance, personal challenges or simply a friendly sporting moment, this year’s programme has something for every runner.
For adults
Start times are set at 11:00 am for the three main distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21 km – the Nordstadsemi, the flagship race of the event
A perfect opportunity to test your speed, beat your personal best or simply enjoy a scenic road race.
For children
The youngest participants will also have their moment to shine:
- 11:05 am – 1 km (children born between 2017 and 2020 – free of charge)
- 11:10 am – 2 km (children born between 2015 and 2016)
A wonderful way to encourage children to stay active, have fun and experience the joy of outdoor sport.
Celebrating performance with awards
Podium ceremonies will honour the three fastest women and men across each distance – an emotional moment filled with well‑deserved applause.
