What is the coverage when I take a trip abroad?

The insurance cover extends to temporary travel for a maximum period of eight consecutive weeks, except in the case of medical reasons preventing your return. In the latter case, the reimbursement of claims is automatically extended for a maximum period of 90 days.

If you take a trip abroad to undergo curative treatment, you must first make a request to Foyer, specifying the planned treatments and the medical necessity of undergoing the treatment abroad.

🚨 Warning

Foyer provides only temporary assistance rather than full assistance abroad. This means that we’ll only pay for travel to the nearest hospital and, in certain cases, repatriation costs.
